fa مقایسه کلونیزاسیون کاندیدا در حفره دهانی استفاده کنندگان از دندان مصنوعی متحرک و افراد با دندان‌های طبیعی: یک گزارش کوتاه A Comparison of Candida Colonization in the Oral Cavity of Removeable Denture Wearers and Individuals with Natural Teeth: A Short Report ميكروبيولوژي Microbiology پژوهشي Research زمینه و هدف: گونه‌های کاندیدا جزء مهمی ‌از میکروب‌های ساکن دهان هستند و در صورت وجود عوامل مستعدکننده باعث کاندیدیازیس دهانی می‌شوند. استفاده از دندان مصنوعی متحرک به عنوان یک عامل مستعدکننده کلونیزاسیون گونه‌های کاندیدا در دهان شناخته شده است. هدف این مطالعه مقایسه کلونیزاسیون گونه‌های مختلف کاندیدا در حفره دهانی استفاده کنندگان از دندان مصنوعی متحرک و افراد با دندان طبیعی می‌باشد.<o:p /> مواد و روش‌ها: <a name="OLE_LINK47"></a><a name="OLE_LINK46"></a><a name="OLE_LINK45">در این مطالعه مقطعی که در سال 1388 انجام شد، </a><a name="OLE_LINK49"></a><a name="OLE_LINK48">فلور کاندیدیایی دهان 84 نفر از افراد مراجعه‌کننده به بیمارستان امام خمینی تهران که از دندان مصنوعی متحرک استفاده می‌کردند با فلور کاندیدیایی دهان 96 نفر که دندان طبیعی داشتند مورد مقایسه قرار گرفت</a>. تمام نمونه‌ها توسط سواپ از دهان افراد جمع‌آوری شده و روی محیط کروم آگار کشت داده شدند. کلونی‌های جدا شده از این محیط در محیط کورن میل آگار نیز کشت داده شدند. سپس گونه‌های غیر آلبیکنس جدا شده روی این محیط به روش RapID Yeast Plus System تعیین گونه شدند. آنالیز اطلاعات به دست آمده با استفاده از آزمون t مستقل و آزمون پواسون انجام شد.<o:p /> یافته‌ها: در این مطالعه 2/76% (64 نفر) استفاده‌کنندگان از دندان مصنوعی متحرک و 9/47% (46 نفر) از افرادی که دندان طبیعی داشتند دارای کلونیزاسیون گونه‌های کاندیدایی در دهان خود بودند (001/0=p). شایع‌ترین گونه جدا شده در هر دو گروه کاندیدا آلبیکنس بود و گونه‌های غیرآلبیکنس جدا شده کاندیدا گلابراتا، کاندیدا تروپیکالیس، کاندیدا کروزه‌ای و کاندیدا کفایر بودند. اختلاف معنی‌داری بین کلونیزاسیون کاندیدا آلبیکنس در گروه استفاده‌کنندگان از دندان مصنوعی 3/64% (54 نفر) و استفاده‌کنندگان از دندان طبیعی 6/39% (38 نفر) مشاهده شد (001/0=p).<o:p /> نتیجه‌گیری: استفاده از دندان مصنوعی متحرک باعث افزایش کلونیزاسیون گونه‌های کاندیدا در دهان می‌شود. بنابراین حفره دهانی ممکن است به منبعی برای ایجاد عفونت‌های فرصت طلب تبدیل شوند.<o:p /> واژه‌های کلیدی: <a name="OLE_LINK20"></a><a name="OLE_LINK19">کاندیدا، کاندیدیازیس، دندان مصنوعی</a><o:p /> Background and Objective: Candida species are an important component of the resident microbial ecology of the oral cavity and are associated with various forms of oral candidosis when appropriate predisposing factors exist. Removable denture wearing is recognized as a predisposing factor for oral colonization by Candida species. The purpose of this study was to compare the colonization of different Candida species in the oral cavity of denture wearers and subjects with natural teeth.<o:p /> Materials and Methods: In this cross sectional study, conducted in 2009, we compared oral candida flora in 84 subjects who had worn complete <a name="OLE_LINK6"></a><a name="OLE_LINK5">removable dentures </a>and 96 subjects with natural teeth referred to Imam Khomeini hospital in Tehran were compared. All samples were obtained from oral cavity by swab and cultured on CHOROM agar Candida. All isolated colonies were also cultured on cornmeal agar medium and non-albicans species were identified by using RapID Yeast Plus System. The statistical analysis was performed using t-test and Poisson test.<o:p /> Results: In this study 76.2% (n=64) of subjects with removable denture and 47.9% (n=46) of subjects natural teeth were colonized by candida species in the oral cavity (p=0.001). The most common isolated species were candida albicans and non-albicans species were C. glabrata, C. krusei, C. tropicalis and C. kefyr in the two groups. The differences between oral candida albicans colonization in denture wearers (64.3% or 54 subjects) and subjects whit natural teeth(39.6% or 38 subjects) were statistically significant (p=0.001).<o:p /> Conclusion: <a name="OLE_LINK14"></a><a name="OLE_LINK13">Removable denture wearing</a> can lead to an increase in the oral colonization by Candida species.
