fa بررسی ارتباط هوش هیجانی با مصرف الکل، سیگار و داروهای اعصاب و روان در دانشجویان دانشگاه‌های شهر جیرفت The Relation between Emotional Intelligence and Alcohol Drinking, Cigarette Smoking and Psychiatric Drugs Abuse in Jiroft Universities Students پرستاري Nursing پژوهشي Research چکیده<o:p /> زمینه و هدف: هوش هیجانی، نوعی پردازش اطلاعات هیجانی و عاطفی است که افراد را در برابر استرس محافظت می‌نماید و به سازگاری و تطابق بهتر کمک می‌کند. هدف این مطالعه بررسی ارتباط هوش هیجانی با مصرف الکل، سیگار و داروهای اعصاب و روان در دانشجویان می‌باشد.<o:p /> مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه توصیفی به روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی چند مرحله‌ای بر روی 740 نفر از دانشجویان دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی، آزاد و ملی جیرفت در سال 1392 انجام شد. اطلاعات از طریق پرسش‌نامه محقق ساخته و پرسش‌نامه استاندارد هوش هیجانی Brad Berry-Graves جمع‌آوری و با آزمون‌های t مستقل، آنالیز واریانس یک طرفه، مجذور کای و رگرسیون استدلالی تجزیه و تحلیل شدند. <o:p /> یافته‌ها: میانگین نمره هوش هیجانی کل 26/10±44/73 و میزان مصرف داروهای اعصاب و روان، الکل و سیگار به ترتیب 8/13%، 8/10% و 7/5% بود. آزمون t رابطه معکوس و معنی‌داری بین مصرف داروهای اعصاب و روان و سیگار با هوش هیجانی کل (به ترتیب 049/0=p و 004/0=p)، مقیاس‌های خود آگاهی (به ترتیب 003/0=p و 001/0=p) و آگاهی اجتماعی (به ترتیب 014/0=p و 001/0=p) نشان داد، در حالی که تنها بین مقیاس آگاهی اجتماعی و مصرف الکل رابطه معنی‌داری مشاهده شد (037/0=p). <o:p /> نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به نتایج که نشان داد بین هوش هیجانی و مصرف داروی‌های اعصاب و روان، سیگار و الکل رابطه منفی و معکوسی وجود دارد، رشد و پرورش هوش هیجانی برای پیشگیری از مصرف مواد راهکاری مناسب محسوب می‌شود که می‌تواند به بهزیستی فرد و جامعه کمک کند.<o:p /> واژه‌های کلیدی: هوش هیجانی، الکل، سیگار، داروهای اعصاب و روان، دانشجویان<o:p /> Background and Objective: Emotional intelligence is a kind of emotional information processing which protects individuals against stress and helps them to approach better compatibility and compliance. This study aimed to assess the relation between emotional intelligence and alcohol drinking, cigarette smoking and psychiatric drugs abuse in students’ community.<o:p /> Materials and Methods: This descriptive study was conducted on 740 students who were selected by cluster random sampling method from Medical, Islamic Azad and National universities of Jiroft in 2013. Data was collected by researcher-made and emotional intelligence (Brad Berry–Graves) questionnaires and were analyzed using t-test, one way ANOVA, chi-square test and logistic regression.<o:p /> Results: Mean and standard deviation of total emotional intelligence was 73.44±10.26 and prevalence of alcohol drinking, cigarette smoking and psychiatric drugs abuse were 13.8%, 10.8% and 5.7%, respectively. Based on t-test, a significant and inverse relation was found between cigarette smoking and psychiatric drugs abuse with total emotional intelligence (p=0.049 and p=0.004, respectively), self-awareness (p=0.003 and p=0.001, respectively) as well as social consciousness (p=0.014 and p=0.001, respectively) subscales, while only observed a significant relation between alcohol abuse and social consciousness subscale (p=0.037).<o:p /> Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and alcohol drinking, cigarette smoking and psychiatric drugs abuse.
