fa شیوع چاقی و اضافه وزن در دانشجویان دانشکده دندانپزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی یزد در سال 1393 The Prevalence of Overweight and Obesity among Dental Students Yazd University of Medical Sciences of Yazd in 2014 تغذيه تغذيه پژوهشي Research  gte vml 1]><v:roundrect id="_x0000_s1026" style='position:absoluteleft:0text-align:left margin-left:5.45ptmargin-top:2.2ptwidth:449.5ptheight:362.55ptz-index:-1' arcsize="1475f"> <w:wrap anchorx="page"/> </v:roundrect><img alt="AWT IMAGE" width="602" height="485" src="file:///C:/DOCUME~1/ADMINI~1/LOCALS~1/Temp/msohtmlclip1/01/clip_image001.gif" v:shapes="_x0000_s1026" >چکیده<o:p /> زمینه و هدف: شیوع چاقی و اضافه وزن به طور قابل توجهی در جهان در حال افزایش است و این مطالعه قصد دارد تا به بررسی میزان چاقی و اضافه وزن در دانشجویان دندانپزشکی بپردازد تا از این طریق اطلاعات صحیح و بهتری از مجریان درمانی در بخش دندانپزشکی به دست آید و راهنمای بسیار مناسب برای سیاستگزاران بهداشتی باشد.<o:p /> مواد و روش‌ها: مطالعه حاضر یک مطالعه توصیفی بوده که در این مطالعه 181 دانشجوی دندانپزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شهید صدوقی یزد در نیمسال اول سال تحصیلی 94-93 از طریق انتخاب تصادفی به عنوان نمونه وارد مطالعه شدند و اطلاعات آنان از طریق پرسشنامه و دستگاه تن‌سنج اندازه‌گیری شد و آزمون t-test مستقل به منظور بررسی تفاوت میانگین‌ها استفاده و داده‌ها به تفکیک سن، جنس و سابقه فامیلی ارائه شدند.<o:p /> یافته‌ها: شیوع چاقی، اضافه وزن و چاقی شکمی در پسران بیش از دختران بود، شیوع چاقی در پسران 21% در حالی که این میزان در دختران 2% و شیوع کلی 11% بدست آمد، شیوع اضافه وزن در پسران 28% بود که این میزان در دختران 15% و شیوع کلی 22% بدست آمد. همچنین، شیوع چاقی شکمی در پسران 19% و این میزان در دختران 11% و شیوع کلی 15% بدست آمد و حاکی از وجود اختلاف معنی‌دار آماری در دو جنس بود (05/0>p).<o:p /> نتیجه‌گیری: در دانشکده‌های دندانپزشکی با توجه به فعالیت بالای دانشجویان و مراجعین بسیار زیاد، توجه دانشجویان به تغذیه خود بسیار پایین است، لذا می‌توان توصیه کرد تا وزارت بهداشت، درمان و آموزش پزشکی و همچنین، رؤسای این دانشکده‌ها توجه به تغذیه دانشجویان را در اولویت قرار دهند. <o:p /> واژه‌های کلیدی: چاقی، چاقی شکمی، اضافه وزن، دانشجویان<o:p /> Background and Objective: The prevalence of overweight and obesity is significantly increasing in the world and this study aims to investigate the rate of overweight and obesity among students of dentistry to obtain correct and better information about enforcement of dental treatment and create a very useful guide for health policy-makers.<o:p /> Materials and Methods: The present study is a descriptive study.A total of 181 dental students of Yazd Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, in the first semester of the academic year 2014-2015 were studied by random selection as examples, their information were collected by questionnaires and by anthropometric device, then an independent t-test analysis was done inorder to study the difference of average. Data, was divided by age, sex and family history.<o:p /> Results: The prevalence of obesity, overweight and abdominal obesity among boys was more than girls. The prevalence of obesity among boys was 21 %, while the rate among girls was 2%, and overall prevalence was 11%. The prevalence of overweight among boys was 28% and among girls 15%, and the overall prevalence was 22%. The prevalence of abdominal obesity among boys was 19% and among girls was 11%, and the overall prevalence was 15%. These results indicates the significant statistical differences between males and females (p value < 0.05).<o:p /> Conclusion: In the Faculties of Dentistry, due to high activity of students and the high number of clients, the students' attention to their nutrition is very low.
