مقطعی با حجم نمونه 249 نفر در فاصله زمانی تیر تا شهریور سال 1393 در بیمارستان بعثت سنندج انجام شد. شرکت کنندگان شامل پرستاران، بهیاران، نیروهای کمکی و ماماها بودند. در آنالیز داده‌ها علاوه بر روش‌های توصیفی از روش رگرسیون لجستیک برای بررسی ارتباط متغیرهای مختلف با مواجهات شغلی استفاده گردید.<o:p /></span></p> <p class="IJE-F-Abstract" dir="RTL" style="margin-top: 0cm margin-right: 2.85pt "> بر اساس نتایج بدست آمده، شیوع مواجهه شغلی در بین کارکنان این بیمارستان 92/79% بود. تحلیل چند متغیره رگرسیون لجستیک نشان داد مردان به نسبت زنان و افراد با سابقه کار بین 10 تا 15 سال بطور معنی‌داری بیشتر دچار مواجهه شغلی (آسیب با سوزن) شده بودند. 36/61% از شرکت کنندگان هم در مورد مواجهات شغلی و نحوه برخورد با آن آگاهی صحیح داشتند. <o:p /></span></p> <p class="IJE-F-Abstract" dir="RTL" line-height: 117% font-family: 'B Nazanin' "> نتایج مطالعه حاضر نشان داد رخداد آسیب ناشی از سرسوزن یا مواجهات شغلی در این بیمارستان بالا می‌باشد. می‌توان نتیجه گرفت پیشگیری از مواجهات شغلی به عنوان یک جز لاینفک برنامه‌های پیشگیری در محل‌های کار ضروری و حیاتی است و آموزش کارکنان ارائه دهنده خدمات بهداشتی درمانی در مورد شیوه‌های ایمنی باید یک فعالیت مداوم باشد.<o:p /></span></p> <p one of the occupational hazards among health care workers. Many infections including blood-borne viruses such as Human Immunodeficieny Virus (HIV), hepatitis B and C can be transmitted by exposure to infected blood or other body fluid via accidental inoculation injury. The aim of current study was to determine prevalence of<span> </span>NSSIs and related factors in health care workers of Besat hospital of Sanandaj, 2014.</span><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif "><o:p /></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify line-height: 150% direction: ltr unicode-bidi: embed "><b><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif ">Materials and Methods:</span></b><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif "> This cross-sectional study, with sample size of 249 persons, was carried out during June and August in 2014 in Besat hospital of Sanandaj. Participants including nurses auxiliary nurse, midwives and service staff. Descriptive methods and logistic regression were used for summarie of data and assessing the associations between variables and occupational exposure, respectively.<o:p /></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify line-height: 150% direction: ltr unicode-bidi: embed "><b><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif ">Results:</span></b><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif "> The prevalence of occupational exposure in this hospital personnel was 79.92 %. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that men more than women and those with experience (years of services) of 10 to 15 years were significantly more likely to needlestick. 61.36% of the participants also had correct knowledge about occupational exposures and how to deal with it.<o:p /></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify line-height: 150% direction: ltr unicode-bidi: embed "><b><span style="line-height: 150% font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif ">Conclusion:</span></b><span style="line-height: 150% font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif "> The findings showed that the occurrence of NSIs in this hospital was high.
