other ارزیابی علل خارج کردن دندان در مراجعین بخش جراحی دهان، فک و صورت دانشکده دندان‌پزشکی رفسنجان (1387) دندان پزشكي دندان پزشكي پژوهشي Research <strong><span style="font-family:B Nazanin;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">زمینه و هدف:</span></span></strong> <span style="font-family:B Nazanin;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">سلامت دهان به نگهداری دندان‌های دائمی احتیاج دارد. خارج کردن دندان همیشه آخرین انتخاب در دندان‌پزشکی می‌‌باشد، با این همه، در کشورهای فقیر یا در کشورهایی که مردم تحت پوشش بیمه‌های درمانی نیستند، آمار بالای خارج کردن دندان به خصوص در مورد دندان‌هایی که قابل درمان هستند، موجب تأسف است. هدف این مطالعه بررسی علل خارج کردن دندان و ارزیابی وضعیت بهداشت دهان در بیماران مراجعه‌کننده به بخش جراحی دانشکده دندان‌پزشکی رفسنجان در زمستان 1387 بوده است. </span></span><br> <strong><span style="font-family:B Nazanin;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">مواد و روش‌ها:</span></span></strong> <span style="font-family:B Nazanin;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">این مطالعه توصیفی- مقطعی بر روی 320 بیمار انجام شد. اطلاعات عمومی بیمار، وضعیت سلامت دهان بیمار، موقعیت و نیز علل کشیدن دندان بعد از معاینه کلینیکی و رادیوگرافی در یک پرسش‌نامه جمع‌آوری و ثبت گردید. اطلاعات به دست آمده با روش‌های آمار توصیفی و تحلیلی تجزیه و تحلیل گردیدند.</span></span><br> <strong><span style="font-family:B Nazanin;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">یافته‌ها:</span></span></strong> <span style="font-family:B Nazanin;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">در مطالعه حاضر شایع‌ترین علل خارج کردن دندان به ترتیب: پوسیدگی غیرقابل ترمیم (5/32%)، پوسیدگی قابل ترمیم که دندان به درخواست بیمار خارج شد (6/30%)، درخواست بیمار (6/11%)، بیماری پریودنتال غیرقابل درمان (10%)، بیماری پریودنتال قابل درمان که دندان به درخواست بیمار خارج شد (5%)، نهفتگی(1/3%) دندان‌های نابجا (8/2%)، دلایل دیگر (8/2%) و ارتودنسی (6/1%) بود. هیچ دندانی به علت درمان قبل از پروتز خارج نشد. </span></span><br> <strong><span style="font-family:B Nazanin;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">نتیجه‌گیری:</span></span></strong> <span style="font-family:B Nazanin;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">وجود پوسیدگی و درخواست بیمار علل اصلی خارج کردن دندان در مراجعان بود. بنابراین بایستی یک سیستم بهداشت دهان مناسب شامل برنامه‌های کارآمد که بر پیشگیری و درمان پوسیدگی تأکید داشته باشد، ایجاد و گسترش یابد.</span></span><br> <strong><span style="font-family:B Nazanin;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">واژه‌های کلیدی:</span></span></strong> <span style="font-family:B Nazanin;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">خارج کردن دندان، پوسیدگی، بیماری پریودنتال، نهفتگی، دندان نابجا</span></span><span style="color:black;"><span style="font-family:B Nazanin;"><span style="font-size:1.0pt;"></span></span></span> <strong>Background and Objectives</strong>: The retention of permanent teeth is important in oral health. Tooth extraction is always the last choice in dentistry, however in the most economically poor countries or those without efficient insurance services; tooth extraction, particularly among restorable teeth is common. The aim of this study was to determine the reasons of tooth extraction and evaluation of oral health status among patients referred to the Rafsanjan Dental School in winter 2008.<br> <strong>Materials and Methods:</strong> This descriptive study was conducted on 320 patients. The general information about patient, oral health status, tooth location and causes of extraction after clinical and radiographically examination were collected by a cheklist. The data were analyzed using descriptive and analytic statistics methods.<br> <strong>Results:</strong> In this study the most prevalent reasons were not restorable caries (32.5%), restorable caries that the tooth was extracted because of patient^&#39;s request (30.6%), patient^&#39;s request (11.6%), untreatable periodontal disease (10%), treatable periodontal disease that the tooth was extracted because of patient^&#39;s request (5%), impaction (3.1%), malaproposed teeth (2.8%), other reasons (2.8%), and orthodontics (1.6%). There was no tooth extracted because of pre-prosthetic reasons.<br> <strong>Conclusion: </strong>Caries and patient&#39;s request were the main reasons for tooth extraction in respondents.
