fa بررسی شیوع سرمی ایمونوگلوبولین‌های IgG و IgM ضد توکسوپلاسما گوندی در مادران باردار مراجعه کننده به زایشگاه نیک‌نفس رفسنجان و بند ناف نوزادان آنها در سال ۱۳۹۲ A Study of the Seroprevalence of IgG and IgM Immunoglobulins Against Toxoplasma Gondii in Pregnant Women Referred to Niknafs Maternity Ward of Rafsanjan City and in Umbilical Cord of their Infants in 2013 انگل شناسي Parasitology پژوهشي Research زمینه و هدف: توکسوپلاسما حداقل بین 30 تا 60 % از انسان‌ها را در بسیاری از کشورهای جهان از جمله ایران آلوده می‌کند. هدف از این مطالعه، تعیین شیوع سرمی آنتی‌بادی‌های ضد توکسوپلاسما در مادران باردار شهرستان رفسنجان و نوزادان آنها و نیز تعیین نقش برخی از عوامل احتمالی مؤثر در اپیدمیولوژی این عفونت ‌بود.<o:p /> مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه مقطعی، سرم نمونه‌های خون ۳۳۳ مادر باردار و نیز خون بند ناف جنین‌های آنها با استفاده از کیت‌های تجاری ELISA از نظر وجود آنتی‌بادی‌های اختصاصی IgG و IgM ضد توکسوپلاسما گوندی مورد آزمایش قرار گرفتند. همچنین، اطلاعات مربوط به برخی از عوامل احتمالی مؤثر بر اپیدمیولوژی عفونت ثبت گردید. داده‌ها با روش‌های آمار توصیفی و آزمون‌های آماری شامل مجذور کای و اختلاف میانگین‌ها مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند.<o:p /> نتایج: از مجموع ۲۴۰ نمونه خون مادر و ۲۵۴ نمونه خون بندناف که ایمونوگلوبولین‌های IgG ضد توکسوپلاسما در سرم آنها ردیابی شد، به ترتیب تعداد ۷۳ مورد (4/۳۰%) و ۸۳ مورد (7/۳۲%) مثبت بودند. از سوی دیگر، تنها یک نمونه خون بند ناف (3/0%) از نظر IgMضد توکسوپلاسما مثبت بود. نتایج IgG با سطح تحصیلات مادر، محل سکونت در شهر یا روستا، نگهداری یا تماس نزدیک با گربه و شغل مادر دارای ارتباط معنی‌دار بود. نسبت شانس آلودگی به توکسوپلاسما در زنان خانه‌دار 8/3 برابر زنان غیر خانه‌دار، در زنان روستایی 24/2 برابر زنان شهری و در افراد با تماس نزدیک با گربه 84/1 برابر افراد بدون تماس نزدیک با گربه برآورد گردید.<o:p /> نتیجه‌گیری: علی‌رغم شرایط نا‌مناسب محیطی، امکان انتقال این عفونت را در استان کرمان فراهم است. زندگی در روستا، تماس با گربه، خانه‌دار بودن و تحصیلات پایین مادران باردار از عوامل خطرزا در ابتلا به عفونت محسوب می‌شوند.<o:p /> واژه‌های کلیدی: توکسوپلاسما، توکسوپلاسموزیس مادرزادی، بندناف<o:p /> Background and objective: Toxoplasma gondii is a protozoan that infects at least 30-60 percent of human beings in many countries including Iran. The present study was aimed to determine the seroprevalence of anti-toxoplasma IgG and IgM immunoglobulins in pregnant women and their newborns, as well as to investigate its association with some potential epidemiological factors.<o:p /> Materials and Methods: Sera of 333 blood samples of pregnant mothers and their infants' umbilical cords were examined for IgG and IgM immunoglobulins against toxoplasma gondii using commercial ELISA kits. Data on some potential epidemiological parameters of infection were recorded.<o:p /> Results: only 73 cases out of 240 (30.4%) mother blood samples and 83 cases out of 254 (32.7%) umbilical cords samples had detectable IgG antibodies against toxoplasma gondii. On other hand, only one (0.3%) umbilical cord sample were positive for IgM Immunoglobulins. Positive IgG results had statistically significant associations with job, educational levels, residence in rural or urban area and close contact with cats. Odds ratio of infection in housewives was 3.8 times of non-housewives, in rural women was 2.24 times of urban women, and in those with close cat contacts was 1.84 times of those without contact. <o:p /> Conclusions: Despite unfavorable environmental conditions, Kerman province is suitable for toxoplasma infection.
