Rezaeian<o:p />   مراحل آماده‌سازی، ارسال، تجدید نظر و چاپ یک مقاله مستلزم صرف وقت و دقت بسیار زیادی از طرف نویسندگان آن می‌باشد. این مراحل که در نمودار 1 به تصویر کشیده شده‌اند، در حالت بهینه، نزدیک به چند ماه و در بدترین حالت، ممکن است حتی تا چند سال نیز به طول انجامند. شواهد نشان می‌دهند که معمولاً، از زمانی که اولین نسخه مقاله نوشته شده تا زمانی که نسخه نهایی آن آماده می‌گردد، بین حداقل 5 تا حداکثر 20 بار، نسخه اولیه باید مورد بازنویسی قرار گیرد ]1[. <o:p /> اگر مقاله دارای چندین نویسنده باشد، توصیه می‌گردد که یک یا حداکثر دو نفر از نویسندگان، نسخه اولیه مقاله را آماده سازند. سپس، سایر نویسندگان این نسخه را به شکلی نقادانه مورد مطالعه قرار داده و به انجام تصحیحات لازم و افزایش بار معنوی آن همت گمارند ]2[. همچنین، ارائه مقاله در یک همایش و در مقابل صاحبنظران مربوطه، البته به شرط آن که نسخه کامل مقاله در کتابچه همایش چاپ نگردد نیز، می‌تواند به انجام تصحیحات لازم و غنای معنوی مقاله بیفزاید. گاهی اوقات، نویسندگان می‌توانند از یک یا دو همکار دیگر خود بخواهند که مقاله‌شان را به شکلی نقادانه مطالعه کرده و پیشنهادهای خودشان را برای بهبود آن اعلام کنند. مهم نیست که چند بار نسخه اولیه مورد بازنویسی قرار می‌گیرد، بلکه مهم آن است که نسخه نهایی، مورد تأیید تمامی نویسندگان آن قرار گیرد. <o:p /> پس از تأیید نسخه نهایی از سوی تمامی نویسندگان، ضرورت دارد که قبل از ارسال مقاله به مجله مورد نظر، بازبینی نهایی مقاله توسط نویسنده مسئول صورت پذیرد. پس از ارسال مقاله به مجله، نویسندگان باید منتظر پاسخ مجله باقی بمانند. پذیرش بدون قید و شرط مقاله معمولاً بسیار به ندرت رخ می‌دهد. در بهترین حالت، ممکن است که مجله خواهان تجدید نظر در مقاله و ارسال مجدد آن گردد. ما قبلاً درباره اصول اساسی در انجام تجدید نظر در متن مقاله و چگونگی ارائه پاسخ به نظرات داوران صحبت کرده‌ایم و خوانندگان فرهیخته این سخن سردبیری را به آن موضوع ارجاع می‌دهیم ]3[.<o:p /> همچنین، در بدترین حالت ممکن است که مجله، اعلام نماید که مقاله ارسال شده در اولویت چاپ قرار ندارد. همانطور که قبلاً نیز به آن اشاره شد ]4[ رد یک مقاله توسط یک مجله، به معنای خاتمه حیات آن نیست. بلکه، اگر مقاله از متدولوژی مناسب برخوردار بوده، نویسندگان آن می‌توانند با رفع خطاهای احتمالی و انتخاب یک مجله دیگر، نسبت به چاپ آن امیدوار باشند. اما این کار، مستلزم صرف وقت، انرژی و زمان مضاعفی می‌باشد. <o:p />                      gte vml
