زمینه و هدف: گرایش به اعتیاد در میان نوجوانان یکی از مهم‌ترین نگرانی‌هایی است که تحت تأثیر عوامل فردی و محیطی قرار دارد. لذا هدف مطالعه حاضر تعیین رابطه بین خودتنظیمی و گرایش به اعتیاد با نقش میانجی حمایت اجتماعی ادراک ‌شده بود.
مواد و روش‌ها: روش پژوهش، توصیفی از نوع همبستگی بود. جامعه آماری شامل تمام دانش‌آموزان مقطع متوسطه دوم شهر کرمان در سال تحصیلی ۱۴۰۴۱۴۰۳ بود که از میان آن‌ها ۱۰۲۱ نفر با روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی خوشه‌ای چندمرحله‌ای انتخاب شدند. ابزارهای پژوهش شامل پرسش‌نامه خودتنظیمی Chen و Lin (۲۰۱۸)، پرسش‌نامه حمایت اجتماعی ادراک‌ شده Wax و همکاران (۱۹۸۶) و مقیاس گرایش به اعتیاد فرجاد (۱۳۸۵) بودند. داده‌ها با استفاده از همبستگی Pearson، مدل‌یابی معادلات ساختاری و آزمون Bootstrap تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد خودتنظیمی تأثیر مثبت و معناداری بر حمایت اجتماعی دارد (0/001>P، 0/60=β) و حمایت اجتماعی اثر منفی و معناداری بر گرایش به اعتیاد دارد (0/001>P، 0/64-=β). هم­چنین، خودتنظیمی تأثیر مستقیم منفی و معناداری بر گرایش به اعتیاد داشت (0/001>P، 0/83-=β). اثر غیرمستقیم خودتنظیمی بر گرایش به اعتیاد از طریق حمایت اجتماعی نیز معنادار بود (0/001>P، 0/23-=β). آزمون Sobel نقش میانجی جزئی حمایت اجتماعی را تأیید کرد (0/001>P)، و شاخص‌های برازش مدل مطلوب بود (0/034=Root Mean Square Error of Approximation; RMSEA).
نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج نشان داد خودتنظیمی، به‌صورت مستقیم و از طریق حمایت اجتماعی، گرایش به اعتیاد را کاهش می‌دهد. بنابراین، تقویت مهارت‌های خودتنظیمی و حمایت اجتماعی در مدارس می‌تواند به پیشگیری از گرایش به اعتیاد در میان نوجوانان کمک کند.
